Terms & Conditions
Please read our terms and conditions carefully before renting an eBike.
1. Rental Period & Returns
Rental Period
Rentals run on a 24-hour cycle from the time of delivery. Returns must match the original delivery time.
Late Returns
Up to 60 minutes late — grace period, no charge. Over 3 hours late — full additional day charged.
If Unavailable at Pick-up
If unavailable at pick-up, leave the unit and all accessories (keys, charger, lock, helmet) with hotel/villa reception. Provide the staff's name and contact number to our team, and take a photo of the handover as proof of return and send it to our WhatsApp. Failure to provide photo confirmation may result in the renter being held responsible for any missing items or damage reported after pick-up.
2. Delivery & Relocation
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees apply to all rentals and are calculated based on distance zone. Areas within 30 km are charged at a lower rate; areas beyond 30 km are subject to higher fees based on distance. Full zone breakdown and rates are available in our current Rate Card.
Nusa Islands
For rentals to Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan, the unit will be delivered to your hotel or the nearest port. Onward transport via ferry is the renter's responsibility.
Relocation
Relocation requests during the rental period are subject to an additional Relocation Fee based on the same zone structure.
3. Payment
Payment Terms
Full payment is required before or upon delivery, after unit inspection. We accept Credit/Debit Card, Local Bank Transfer, and Cash. No installments or partial payments.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
Standard Cancellation
6+ hours before delivery — free cancellation. Driver already en route — fuel & time fee applies (see Rate Card). No-show — first day rate charged.
Early Returns
No refund for personal reasons, itinerary changes, or weather.
Technical Failure
Refund eligible only if confirmed by our team and no replacement can be provided. Approved refunds are recalculated at Standard Daily Rate, voiding any long-term discounts.
5. Rider Rules & Prohibited Use
Licensing
This unit is classified as a pedal-assisted electric bicycle (e-bike) and does not require a motorcycle or vehicle license to operate under Indonesian traffic regulations (Permenhub No. 45 Tahun 2020). Renters are not required to hold a driving license solely for the purpose of riding this unit. However, renters remain responsible for riding responsibly and adhering to all applicable local traffic rules. We are not liable for any penalties resulting from reckless or unlawful riding behavior.
General Rules
Only the registered renter may operate the unit. Minimum height: 160 cm for safe and comfortable operation. Maximum load: 130 kg. The unit must not be used off-road, sublet to third parties, or taken outside agreed areas. Helmets must be worn at all times.
6. Beach & Outdoor Use
Beach Use
The unit may be taken to the beach. However, after any beach visit or exposure to sand and saltwater, the unit — especially the gear and chain area — must be rinsed immediately with clean freshwater only. Do not use seawater or saltwater for rinsing. Damage caused by salt corrosion or sand buildup due to failure to rinse will be the renter's financial responsibility.
7. Insurance & Liability
Insurance
Insurance is not automatic and must be purchased before the rental starts.
With Insurance
Covers theft (up to USD 1,400 with USD 300 deductible), accidental damage, and spare parts including flat tires.
Without Insurance
Renter assumes 100% financial responsibility for all damage, repairs, and full replacement cost (USD 1,400) if the unit is stolen or lost.
Theft Reporting
Theft must be reported to the police within 24 hours. A police report is required to process any insurance claim.
Personal Insurance
We recommend verifying if your travel insurance covers electric vehicle use. We are not liable for claims rejected by your provider.
8. Medical Support
Cepat Sehat 24/7
24/7 medical assistance via Cepat Sehat is only active if the medical support fee has been paid (included in our local insurance). Otherwise, all medical costs are the renter's sole responsibility.
9. Battery & Equipment
Battery Care
Recharge when battery reaches approximately 20% (1 bar). Do not drain to 0%. Use only the provided charger. The unit has a maximum speed of 50 km/h — do not attempt to modify or override this limit. Damage from improper charging or unauthorized modifications is the renter's responsibility.
10. Identification & Data
ID Requirement
A valid ID (Passport or KTP) is required for all rentals. Your data is used solely for rental verification and will not be shared with third parties.
11. General
Governing Terms
All fees are governed by our current Rate Card, available at time of booking. These Terms & Conditions prevail over any prior communications, bot responses, or staff messages. Governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Force majeure events exempt both parties from obligations beyond their reasonable control.
Agreement
By proceeding with the rental and payment, you hereby acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
